I think the only place I recall seeing it was in Winne-the-Pooh, in the chapter about Eeyore's birthday (which I must admit is my favourite)

who_daily seems to be like a lot of these comms -- they pick you up because someone somewhere spots something you've posted. I seem to be on the F'list or friendsfriends for several of the various communities' mods these days, so my wafflings get picked up every so often.
