Expect the Unexpected

I just got a very unexpected parcel today. It was the con pack for my supporting membership of Con Jose -- the 2002 WorldCon. Two years late. Well at least they did send it. And the cover of the con book is very pretty. So is the back cover. And the membership badge is in a nice little plasic wallet thing to hang around one's neck. I can add it to my collection of con badges, I guess, even though I didn't actually attend the con, but well, if they sent me a badge because I was a supporting member, who am I to turn it down? Now, if only I can remember where my con book collection is...
