my favourite story this year (of my own):

Hard to pick one: I'm very fond of all my Cally + The Doctor stories, and also "Resonances". And of course "Anaesthesia".

my best story this year:

Probably Anaesthesia, judging by the response.

story most underappreciated by the universe, in my opinion:

"Twisted Tale" -- nobody seemed to get it, and I'd thought it was quite funny. Another unappreciated one was "From The Reading Of A Book". I have no idea what people thought of it because zero comments. I didn't think it was total crap.

story which most surprised with praise

"Ask Questions Afterwards"

most fun story:

Well, the most fun filk was definitely "The Curse of the Fatal Death".

sexiest story:

I write gen.

story with single sexiest moment:

I write gen, dagnabbit!

Okay, most friendshippy story:

Either "Anaesthesia"... or in some ways "The Other Tenth Time", though it's so short.

story with most friendshippy moment:

Anaesthesia, the bit where the Doctor says that he may not remember anything, but he still has something to lose: Elly.

hardest story to write:

Apart from the one I'm currently working on?
Probably Anaesthesia.

most unintentionally telling story:

What do you mean by that?

most "OHMIGOD HEY *I* WROTE THAT" fanon-turned-canon moment:

I tend to write in fandoms where the canon is closed.

looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would did this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?

Well, considering that last year I wrote 24 things, and this year only 18, one could say I wrote less than I expected... except that, last year, nine of those were drabble-length or less, and only three of them were over 1000 words, while this year only one was drabble-length or less, while four were over 1000 words, perhaps I did end up actually writing more.

what pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in january 2005?

I never thought I'd end up writing a Star Wars/Star Trek crossover, but, like, I volunteered to pinch-hit for Multiverse, didn't I?

I also had no idea that I would fall in love with (a) the Ninth Doctor and (b) the idea of him and Cally jauntering around the universe together.

what's your favorite story of the year?

Oh. Um. I think I'd have to say RedStarRobot's Cally + The Doctor crossover (a) because it was lovely in itself and (b) what it spawned afterwards.

did you take any writing risks this year?

I think the riskiest bit of writing is the one I'm still working on, my finish-a-thon story. However, the number of fic-a-thon stories, they were all challenging in their own ways.

do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the new year?

Finish stuff. Write lots of Doctor Who crossovers for my crossovers100 challenge stuff.

And now I really must retreat to my bedroom, the study is now too warm.
