Further thoughts on The God Complex

I said in my previous post that The God Complex wasn't one of those atheistic all-religion-is-evil diatribes in the guise of an episode. But thanks to this excellent post by kaffyr, I've since changed my mind: it was an anti-religious episode, but done with much more subtlety than they usually are.

Doctor Who 6x12: Closing Time

Instead of rushing on to see "The Wedding of River Song", I shall be disciplined and write my reactions to "Closing Time".
I re-watched "The Lodger" before watching "Closing Time" to refresh myself with Craig's character. I know some people can't stand Craig, but I rather like him.

I expect the next episode will answer some questions well, some questions badly, and leave yet still others unanswered, because there are far too many questions to be able to answer them properly in one episode.

Doctor Who 6x13: The Wedding of River Song

Well. There we are. This was not as good as "The Big Bang". In some ways it was very disappointing. Not that it wasn't spectacular, but it was still disappointing.
