Eight Days of Happiness (Day 2)
Jan. 18th, 2009 04:47 pmTHE HAPPINESS MEME
Rules: For eight days you have to post something that made you happy that day. Tag eight people to do the same.
Lunch at Parents place with brother #2 and sister-in-law and nieces, and Aunt E. And I got to give niece #1 her belated birthday present. Learning from my Christmas mistake, I had bought her three books just in case I'd already given one of them to her... which was just as well, because I had already given one of them to her. 8-P
Lunch conversation was, in honour of nieces, about primary school experiences and university experiences. Which got some cool anecdotes out of the elders in the group. The first three weeks of my mother's medical degree, there were no lectures; instead they were training for the contingency of invasion by the Japanese; it was the middle of World War II. The physiology professor was giving lectures in first aid that were so graphic, that some men had to leave before they threw up (Mum was fine, of course).
ETA I guess I'd better tag some people. Feel free to ignore this if you don't want to do this. I tag
