State of the Ficathons
Nov. 6th, 2008 03:08 pmI have actually finished my story for the DW/Torchwood/SJA Cliche-swap Ficathon! Go me! What's more, I went with the original pairing, the one I thought I couldn't do. So that's very good. Particularly as the story isn't due until, um, a couple of weeks away. I am usually not that awesome.
So, I've also decided to participate in
picowrimo, which, while not being an actual ficathon, is a fic-writing group thing, so I'm mentioning it in this post anyway. My goal for this is to finish (or do a big chunk of) the sequel to "Doesn't Look Like A Hell Dimension". While it wasn't second in the finish-a-thon vote, it was a close third, and I feel better able to write it with a deadline, since I already have scattered scenes for it: the drabbles I wrote earlier this year. Whereas the story that came second in the finish-a-thon voting is much further away from being easily writable.
