Food for thought
Jan. 27th, 2007 08:56 pmI just had a great dinner over at Mum & Dad's to see my cousin G and his wife P, who were making a flying visit. (They are actually much older than me, but I love them, especially P, who is a lovely lovely person). The best part of the dinner was the conversation, but the food was good too. (And we got dessert, which we don't usually have. It was simple but yummy: strawberries, raspberries, watermelon, and vanilla ice cream). The conversation definitely touched on religion (and a bit on politics), but since both the men at the table (G and Dad) were Anglican ministers, it was fascinating rather than disagreeable. 8-)
