I hate it when they change the words, like when they remove all the non-inclusive language and all the "thee"s and "ye"s; oddly enough, while my church has a tendancy to do that (sometimes so badly that the sense of the verses is completely changed), this time they kept most of the ye's and thee's but still changed some of the other things. "Good Christians all rejoice" rather than "Good Christian men rejoice"... which I suppose could be confusing the original way and doesn't really change the sense of the verse. Another one that was changed was "Here in David's town this day, is born of David's line..." to "Here in Bethlehem today..." which again doesn't change the sense of the verse, but I don't see why they had to change it at all, I like the poetry of the orignal version better.
