State of the Laptop (part 2)
Feb. 20th, 2006 09:26 pmWell, I got ssh working (which means I can remotely log into it from my main machine). That was trivial, it was all already there, I just had to copy a couple of lines from the config file on my main machine to the laptop, so that they had the same settings.
I'm also part way through setting up the ACPI power management and "suspend" stuff. It recognises battery, ac_power, lid and "sleep button" events! Which is more than I managed to get my old ASUS laptop to do, so Yay! There's still much more to do, not least, actually setting up the stuff for the laptop to DO when it gets these events.
