Wish I could Vid

This is probably only of interest to taraljc -- oh well.

I just recently was ripping a few old favourite CDs onto my PC (my ripping has been rather erratic) and decided to run through my music all in order instead of random, and just now I got to "Let It Rain" by Amanda Marshall, one of the few things which I got as a "CD single".

One of the reasons I like this song so much is because it would make the perfect music for a VR.5 vid. Every time I listen to it, I think of which characters go with which verses, and sometimes I can vaguely see what images would go well with it. Unfortunately I don't have the resources to do vidding. Powerful Wet Stuff

Today I went swimming. Yay! Mum & I went to Ringwood pool (it's nicer than the nearer ones) and Mum sat at a table and did work (and minded my bag) and I went swimming for 3/4 of an hour or so. Not really laps, just mucking around, that's more fun. I started off in the indoor heated pool and quickly went to the outdoor non-heated pool, which was much nicer (looking at pretty trees and lawn, and more refreshing water). The main drawback of the outdoor pool is that it's too shallow (0.75m to 0.9m) I'm tired, but a nice kind of tired.

Finish-a-thon status

Two more scenes written this afternoon and evening.
Current total: 8123 words.
But still a long way to go! Aieee! Three weeks left! Do I have enough time? I don't know.

Christmas Invasion

Yes, well, I finally decided I couldn't hold out any longer, so I watched it. I'm rather dissappointed, actually.

I'm not saying that Tennant is bad as the Doctor, not at all. But he will be bad as the Doctor if all the other episodes are written like this one.

On the other hand, it makes me more determined than ever to finish my finish-a-thon story, so I suppose that's good.
