Yet another Book meme

A book I love no matter what anyone says: "The Blossom of Erda" by L.A. Taylor (yeah it's trashy SF romance -- so? It's the novel equivalent of comfort food...) Either that, or all the children's novels on my shelves, like "Ella Enchanted" or the John Marsden or Elizabeth Enright or Madeline L'Engles... to which I will also reply with "So?"
A book I loathe no matter what anyone says: (almost) anything written by Mercedes Lackey (I really liked "The Ship Who Searched" but that wasn't a solo effort)
An undeservedly obscure book: anything written by Silvia Engdahl or Gillian Bradshaw except for "The Wrong Reflection" which is both not as good as her other stuff and astonishingly easy to find.
An undeservedly famous book: "Little Lord Fauntleroy" by Frances Hodgson Burnett (talk about sacharrine!)
A book I ought to read: all the unread books on my shelves or recently acquired, like "Lud-in-the-Mist"
A book I think others ought to read: "I Never Promised You A Rose Garden" by Hannah Green aka Joanne Greenberg (makes one glad one is sane)
A book I think others ought to buy: (yes, blatent pimpage) Merlin's Wood by Anne Hamilton (ignore the hype, it's still good) (yes, I am an elitist who thinks that hype=bad)
