Dec. 26th, 2003 06:11 pmI sorted out
mistraltoes's cookies. Surprisingly few were broken.
A reduced number went over to Mum and Dad's for pudding; just me, my sister, B-I-L, nephew and The Aunts. My brother was doing things with his wife's parents after the picnic. The pudding was all we had for dinner; that's how to enjoy it, just concentrate on it alone. As it was, I had only one piece, it was that rich.
Today. Boxing Day.
Today's holiday events involved boxes, but not boxes of presents. Boxes with games in them. We (me, sister, B-I-L and nephew) went over to my brother's place, bearing games, and basically spent most of the day playing them. I had one round of Settlers of Catan. Then I played the first game of "Outrage" (the Official Game of the Tower of London) and then played again because my niece wanted to play until she won, but she didn't win the second round either. Somewhere in there was lunch, and the last game of the day was half a game of Elfenland with five people. I think I like it better with three.
