A Humble Necklace

I wanted to make a necklace for myself, just a simple-but-elegant thing that was quite short, good for wearing with open-necked clothes. It's been on hiatus for a while, but today I finished it!

Oh, wow, that's really pretty! It's the kind of necklace I'd wear myself, if I weren't also wearing a baby who'd try to strangle me with it :D

Well, this one has a magnetic clasp, so it will neither break nor strangle.
But I know what you mean -- I once gave a necklace to my sister-in-law, and my baby nephew promptly broke it the first time she wore it!

Beautiful! I like how textured it is--smooth and gleaming but tightly patterned. Fun to look at.

Thank you! Part of the interest is that the rings are oval rather than round, that actually makes the spiral more stable.
