Elementary 1x01

I did bad things to my wrist/arm/shoulder with all that scale-mailleing yesterday, so today I have to stay away from temptation and not do craft.

So I'm watching Elementary on DVD.

I liked it. The setup enables Holmes to wander around poking his nose in things, and Watson to come with him. I liked how Holmes is brilliant, easily bored, manipulative and a jerk. I liked how Watson eventually cuts past Holmes' bullshit with observations of her own.
I like it.

Glad to hear that you've discovered Elementary. It's must-see tv for our household. It holds the coveted #1 slot on our Tivo "to do" list.

Yes, I was afraid I wouldn't like it--that it would be a rehash and nothing more--but I love this Watson, and how they play off each other. I don't often watch it at home, but it's one of my favorite shows to caption at work. :)
