kerravonsen: The TARDIS: something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue (tardis)

Finally caught up!
Oh, this was a good one.

I'm glad that the Doctor figured out that Clara was lying, and called her on it.
"Lying is a good survival skill. It's also a bad habit to get into."

Very good monster-of-the-week, yes. Creepy and scary and unstoppable.
(And kudos for the effects.)

I liked how the Doctor was trying to communicate with them in the hope that they were benign and not malicious.
Clara: And you really think that?
Doctor: I hope that.

I loved how their powers were turned against them -- I didn't see that coming, but it fit brilliantly: get a graffiti artist to paint a realistic-looking door, and use that to trick them into restoring the TARDIS.

"Why can't you say that I did good?"
"You made an excellent Doctor. Goodness has nothing to do with it."

Again coming back to his doubts that he's a good man. I think that also ties in with the "lying skills" too.

Missy chose Clara? For what? Dun-dun-dun-dun!

This was an interesting episode and made a change for the Companion to rescue the Doctor rather than the other way round. That and I loved the toy tie in with the incredible shrinking TARDIS.

Your icon is very appropriate. I was reminded of of Jan Švankmajer's "Alice" when I saw the Doctor looking out of the TARDIS. :)

I too thought that it was a very good episode.

A TARDIS as designed by Svankmajer would be awesome... and terrifying.
