Who Question
For those of you who can cast your minds back to those episodes of Classic Who which were set in Gallifrey, what is the correct term for a female Gallifreyan of rank? Is it "Time Lord" or "Time Lady"?

(Hmm... excuse to dig out the E-space trilogy. :)

Personally, I always say Time Lord, as way too many of the New Who readers seem to think Romana's status (for instance ;-P) was somewhat less than a Time Lord (but she wasn't really a Time Lord, was she, she was a Time Lady and therefore not as special...shudders)
I'm not sure if this is a result of the 'deification' of the Doctor in the new series, or some weird sub-textual form of sexism, but I'm having none of it!

That is enough reason for me to take all the wiggle-room that canon offers and just refer to her as a "Time Lord".
