Belated Craft Post
Excuse me if you've seen these before, but I think I forgot to post them at the time. This is a bunch of craft I made earlier this year, mostly in January.
My Eldest Niece expressed a desire for earrings for her birthday, since she is a medical student and thus can't wear any other kind of jewellery. So in the period between Christmas and her birthday in January, after persuading her to pick out some charms from my collection that she liked, I proceeded, even though she was staying with me, I managed to hide my activities... and made a huge bunch of earrings. Just in order to see her jaw drop on her birthday. (evil Aunt laugh) I told her she wasn't going to get so many at once again, but it was fun to do.
This here is a ruffle scarf.
I made some trivets! I don't know who I'm going to give them to, though.

The M.A.I.L. theme challenge at the beginning of this year was "weapons". So I decided to get cheeky and wrap a pen in maille, declaring that "the pen is mightier than the sword".

do you sell them somewhere or do you make them for your own use?
Mostly for gifts for my family and friends. More recently I've also been making things for charity. I'm not likely to sell any of my work until I retire and need money to feed my craft addiction. Too much bother otherwise.
I especially like the curvy ear things.
Ear wraps are a fabulous invention. They basically hang over the back of one's ears, very comfortable, don't need piercings.
