1: James Wilson has an accident with a piece of new medical equipment and gets sent to a PGP future, where he meets Avon and uses his insights (finely honed from years of dealing with House) to patch up Avon's friendship with Vila.

2: Stranded in an alien installation on a deserted planet, Jack, Daniel, and Teal'c get hit by a regression ray that turns them into small children. Sam has to figure out how to reverse the effects of the ray and keep the kids out of trouble at the same time!

3: Severus Snape and the Fifth Doctor travel back in time to save Harry's parents and defeat Voldemort.

Wilson tilted his head, looking at Avon. "I see," he said. "You murdered your best friend."

Avon bared his teeth, like the smile of a shark. "I don't have friends."

"Obviously," Wilson said, dry as a desert. "Vila only rescued you because he hates you."

"Vila is a fool," Avon snapped.

"That makes two of you," Wilson returned. "Now sit still, and let me take a look at those wounds."

Mind you, the reason I'd never write this is that neither of them would be so stupid as to try to alter history. I'm sure Snape knows about the dangers of Time Turners as much as anyone.

That whole bit in Nine's series about not changing history--at least the reason for it--irritated me; the Doctor mucks about in history all the time; it's like Star Trek and the Prime Directive, honestly. And Dumbledore appears to think there are times to do so, or the third book would have ended with an execution or two.
