Do you have any teenage/pre-teen girls on your gift list? Both my daughters (15 and 9) would go into paroxysms of joy over a pink and black rug. I am just barely preventing them from covering their rooms in pink and black zebra stripes.

One teenage girl, but she lives in the tropics, so I don't think a rug would be suitable.

Yes, it is a floor rug; it's rather too heavy to be a lap-rug.
