from the study

Just a note to say, yes, I am back home -- and my friend Joan gave me a cold! So I am tired and sick, and I am torn between falling asleep in my bed, and forcing myself to stay awake so that my body-clock gets re-synched properly. And I'm supposed to be writing my RemixRedux story! Arrrrgggghhh!

Ugh. Ugh. Blah. Ugh.

Welcome back to the edge of the world. :-)

I know how you feel. Greg has a trip to Germany coming up and I used to live there. I really want to go too but I hate flying that far so much I may very well not. It's 24 hours of fear (just at take-off and landing and flying over Afghanistan), boredom, discomfort, and the sort of claustrophobia I get when squashed next to strangers (I usually sit on the aisle at the cinema). Is it worth it, I ask myself.

Ooh! We have a spare room, all ready for you! And three cats if you don't mind furry cuddles (though they won't bother you at night). I'll give you a link to some pics of where we live when I get home. :-)

Welcome back! Missed you. Feel better soon.

Race you to a remix!

Well, you know how slow I am. But yes, this time I really might win. I just firmed up my concept last night an am already to 640 words--somewhere between a third and half, I think. Am very pleased!

And typing in isn't just the illusion of progress; it has to be done, after all, and may inspire you to do more, even though you're not feeling at your peak. I wrote a lot of Hybrid in bed, too sick to do anything else. Vila-viewpoint is particularly good for that, as it lends that whole 'woe-is-me' flavor to it. :)

Oh, it will get better eventually, I know it will. Remember, you've just put your body through a major stressor, what with the big trip and everything you did while you were there. Now you need some time to recoup; anybody would, even without the other health factors, so don't let it get you down.

Let me sing you a little song:

Yes, Jesus loves you,
Yes, Jesus loves you,
Yes, Jesus loves you,
And Misty loves you, too!

Sorry it's not more original. But heartfelt! (EW!) :)
