Disclaimer: this story was written for me in the 2011 SSHG Exchange, so I may be a little biased.

This took my prompt and ran with it in a most delightful way. The setup was well thought out, with the characterisation of little Hermione spot-on, and the eponymous Harvey being both friendly and perilous. Snape was his snarky but pragmatic self. While this is a crossover, one doesn't have to have seen "Harvey" to understand the story. Which is just as well, because I hadn't seen Harvey (an omission that I now feel the need to redress). The only drawback is that the story is too short.

I agree, the story was too short, perhaps they were approaching the deadline, hence the jump from Flying pig to Sam in the garden.

It definitely shows that with the Faey one should be very careful what you wished for.

I rather enjoyed it,especially the epilogue. :¬D

Oh, definitely deadline problems; the author was one of the organizers of the Exchange, so they were under extra pressure. But I certainly enjoyed what was there.
