Net-Fic Review: Harvey (Harry Potter/Harvey)
This is the story that was written for MEEEEEEE in the Exchange. 8-D
Title: Harvey
Universe: Harry Potter/Harvey
Author: Scattered Logic
Size: 33K 12492 words
Tags: Novelette, AU, Crossover, Humour, Fluff, SSHG, SSHG2011
Characters: Hermione Granger, Severus Snape
Ranking: Very Good
Review: http://www.katspace.org/reviews/netfic/Author/ScatteredLogic#Title_Harvey
Summary: Hermione Granger makes a wish that has far-reaching consequences, a wish that inadvertently binds her to Severus Snape.
Disclaimer: this story was written for me in the 2011 SSHG Exchange, so I may be a little biased.
This took my prompt and ran with it in a most delightful way. The setup was well thought out, with the characterisation of little Hermione spot-on, and the eponymous Harvey being both friendly and perilous. Snape was his snarky but pragmatic self. While this is a crossover, one doesn't have to have seen "Harvey" to understand the story. Which is just as well, because I hadn't seen Harvey (an omission that I now feel the need to redress). The only drawback is that the story is too short.
So... what do you think? Tell meeeeeeee!
