Disney+ Recs?

So, I've signed up to Disney+, because Loki. And secondarily because I realised there were quite a few Disney movies that I didn't manage to see in the theatres that I'd quite like to see (such as Frozen II). Plus I also like Nat Geo.

But since I have it, I might as well use it while I have it, because I don't expect I will keep it for that long. So... do any of you have recs for stuff to watch?

Warning, though: I have no intention of watching WandaVision, because I gather it's in the form of a 50s sitcom similar to I Love Lucy, and I'm afraid that sitcoms hit my embarrassment squick really hard and it would be torment for me to watch it. So I won't be watching it.

But apart from that, any recs? Any particularly good Nat Geo documentaries? SFF series that aren't crap? Don't assume I've seen them already, I'm pretty bad at keeping up with stuff.

A couple of Wandavision episodes would totally hit your embarrassment squick. So good call.

From memory, you’re in the US, which would mean you’re missing half the content I like on Disney+. But I did find the documentary “On Pointe” quite interesting. It’s following some students at the ballet school in New York.

Hurrah for Australia!

Okay, so documentaries:
Howard is about Howard Ashman (wrote the lyrics to Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast, and then died of AIDS). I found it rather fascinating.
On Pointe, as already mentioned, was interesting.

Under-appreciated superhero stuff:
Logan (Wolverine from the X-Men, but dark and gritty)
Unbreakable (one of the few Shyamalan movies I like)
Ant-Man / Ant-Man and the Wasp (silly fun, and has fun being silly fun)
Doctor Strange (magicky stuff – better than the reviews)

TV shows with crime and snark:
Burn Notice
White Collar
Lie to Me

Animated Disney:
Coco
Moana

Movies you should see at least once:
The Martian
Die Hard
The Full Monty
Jojo Rabbit
Master and Commander

Movies I love beyond all reason, regardless of whether they're good:
Ever After
Phone Booth
The Parent Trap
The Three Musketeers
National Treasure

Also, Hamilton is on Disney+, if you're a musicals person. (This being why I got a subscription.)

Yes, but the whole point of Wandavision is what lies behind the soap.

It's not so much a soap as a mystery as to how/why the soap exists.
