A Year In Craft - March (03/12)
A mixture of crafts in March.

This bracelet was done for the M.A.I.L. theme contest "Elements". This braided bracelet represents the five "classical" elements: Earth, Water, Air, Fire and Aether. It was given to a Neopagan friend of mine, I had her in mind when I made it. 8-)

I had fun with doing rainbow-bands looming; it's just so easy and addictive. I wasn't using a rainbow-bands-loom for this, but spool-knitting them. Some of these were given to my youngest Niece for Christmas, others were given to charity.

These were my first forays into Kumihimo braiding, if I recall correctly. The large one actually has different kinds of braiding in it, while the small one is just a simple round braid.
