Net-Fic Review: Win, Place, or Show (Highlander/House)
My review backlog is now down to 21! Or 52, if one counts the stories I haven't actually written reviews for yet. I suppose I should give up on those 31 stories, considering that I would probably have to re-read them in order to write reviews for them, since it's been too long since I read them.
I'm trying to get my backlog down (as you may have noticed) because in a couple of months there will be a whole heap more SSHG stories when this year's Exchange goes live, and I haven't finished the reviews for last year's exchange yet! Plus, of course, sundry others like this one.
Title: Win, Place, or Show
Universe: Highlander/House
Author: Ishafel
Size: 15K 2500 words
Tags: ShortStory, Crossover
Characters: Methos, Gregory House
Ranking: Good
Review: http://www.katspace.org/reviews/netfic/Author/Ishafel#Title_WinPlaceorShow
Summary:Adam Pierson takes a gamble.
I hadn't paid attention to the fact that this was a crossover, so it was a pleasant surprise. Methos is very much himself, calculating courses of action and what he can get away with. I love his assessment of House, and House is very much in character: rude and snarky.
So... what do you think?
