Armistice Ficathon

I decided to imitate snowgrouse and shamelessly request a ficathon for my birthday, which is the 11th of November, Armistice Day. I'm posting this now, because I like long stories, and I want to give people plenty of time, if they so desire to write something plotty.

I'll throw you a list of my favoured fandoms, characters and ideas --as well as squicks-- under the cut, and you can choose what you like from those. Multiple people can write on one subject, and their different takes on them are not going to be boring, no indeed.

Then, on or near my birthday, 11th of November 2006, I will post a master post and people can comment there with links to the stories they've written.

Methos in the past or far future (crossover)

Unlikely (non-heroic) character becomes paranormal (immortal/telepath/Tomorrow Person/wizard/Jedi/superpowered), freaks out, but manages to pull themselves together in time to save the day.

Snarky anti-heros snarking at each other, but forced to work together to save (the world, the universe, the reputation of the Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital...)

One thing: do not tell me if you are writing a story. I want it all to be a surprise, I don't want my hopes lifted up and then dashed to pieces when people find that RL stops them from completing a story. So, I don't want to know. One thing I don't want for my birthday is broken promises; I've had too many of those.
