That whole bit in Nine's series about not changing history--at least the reason for it--irritated me; the Doctor mucks about in history all the time; it's like Star Trek and the Prime Directive, honestly. And Dumbledore appears to think there are times to do so, or the third book would have ended with an execution or two.
