Unfortunately we live in a VERY remote community: 9,000' up on top of a mountain in the middle of a forest.  There is no fannish community around us.  So piracy would be our only option for immediate gratification, and I'm not keen on that. A couple of years ago BBC claimed they were going to release an Apple TV app that anyone anywhere could subscribe and see the entire BBC TV library, sort of iPlayer outside of UK subscribers, but apparently it has come to naught.  And I can't subscribe to BBC America because we don't have a cable subscription: we had satellite, but cut it and went strictly with Apple TV, paying just for HBO and Netflix, along with Amazon Prime.  Costs a lot less than satellite, but there's so many things we can't get without satellite or cable that it truly sucks. We have a DVD set of Sapphire & Steel, two of my favorite stars.  Still haven't watched it.  I'd so love to get a copy of The New Avengers, but the price is outrageous!
