I've never heard of Romanpunk; I now desperately want to read it. Where do I find it - any idea after the panel?
Well, there's "Love & Romanpunk" by Tansy Roberts, which is a slim volume; four interlinked stories set at different times in the same universe.
Then there's "Romanitas", which was mentioned in the panel (I remembered!)
There was one episode of the Original Series of The Tomorrow People where someone was changing history to ensure that the Roman Empire never fell (of course, Our Heroes changed it back again).
It sounds like it was a great con that you got a lot out of.
A good blend of serious and fun, yes. Though I was a bit disappointed that I didn't have as many one-on-one chats with people as I would have liked. I didn't manage to pin down any of my friends long enough to have a meal with them either. 8-( So it felt a bit lonely.
