To my surprise, the plain Chai sorbet tasted nicer than the Chai-with-milk. Though when I think about it, it makes sense, because the plain Chai was twice as strong as the Chai-with-milk, since they'd both started off from the same 4-times-strong brew, and then the milk one had been thinned with milk. I suppose this is a lesson in "yes, you really do have to make the flavour really strong with ice cream". Because iciness dulls one's sense of taste.

Date: 2022-12-19 01:55 am (UTC)Yeah, I was afraid that the plain Chai would turn out to be too bitter, and expected the Chai-latte to have a smoother taste. Whereas instead the Chai-latte had merely a weaker taste.
