[livejournal.com profile] astrogirl came up with an interesting variation on the one of the writing memes going around, so I'd like to do it, even though I did the original version before.

If I made Cinderella, the audience would immediately be looking for a body in the coach.
— Alfred Hitchcock

If I wrote Cinderella, what would you look for?

In your case, the scene where Ron's broken wand turns the coach back into a pumpkin before she gets home and where she runs off with Viktor Krum. :-)

One of Cinderella's stepsisters was actually quite nice and very intelligent, though she had to hide this fact from her mother. While the Prince was seeking for Cinderella armed with a glass shoe, she was making secret plans with the King's seemingly sinister Court Wizard to enspell the shoe so it wouldn't fit anyone *but* her stepsister.

In my version, Cinderella is a ruthless gold digger and the the prince is the central character of the story.
