Visible Light

Yesterday I was going through various files on my computer, and found some art which I hadn't yet put up on my gallery. Some of them were the full-size images which were related to icons I'd made. So I'm posting (links to) them here, along with said icon. (no I can't post the pictures themselves because of the setup on my site to prevent bandwidth theft) ( let's get this show on the road )

Jack Harkness and the Temple of Doom

When I was working on icons for tardis_icons, I wanted to make a "Jack of Diamonds" icon (in keeping with the lyric section of the challenge). So, naturally I was messing around with an image of Jack, trying to make it sort of cartoon or line art. But when I'd done that, it looked so nice large, and so horrible small, I decided to toss the icon and just go with the large image. But it was an image on a white background. What if I gave it a more interesting background in the same style?

And so Jack Harkness and the Temple of Doom was born. I kind of imagine it cluttering up the back of Clive's shed, along with the sketch of the Doctor on a Pacific Island... though of course this was done in colour pencil... (grin)
